Baksidan

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of the fascinationg, inimitable Sherlock Holmes, became an ardent student of spiritualism and psychism following the death of his son, Raymond, during World War I. The insight and reasoning powers of Holmes' creator are brought to bear in the research contained in this delightful volume.

This correspondence between Doyle and E L Gardener of the Theosophical Society brings new light to Gardener's research and experience with fairies. In addition Sir Arthur includes independent evidence beyond that commonly accepted as well as the observations of a clairvoyant made at Cottingly Glenn, the area of fairy sightings. There is also an examination of the Theosophical view on fairies.

The pictures which are included in this volume have been examined and certified by a specialist in photography.
